A web portal for youth, Calgary Urban Vibe's primary objectives are to

• connect youth to youth,
• connect youth to resources
• enhance communication and coordination within the youth-serving sector
• give youth a greater voice in Calgary

It is created, managed and directed by youth. Remember... youth is a state of mind.

In 2004, Calgary Urban Vibe joined the Child and Youth Friendly Calgary team. A unique component of the Urban Vibe website is Teen Line Vibe, a partnership between Calgary Urban Vibe and The Distress Centre. Teen Line Vibe is an on-line peer support network for youth who need advice on a variety of issues such as health and relationships.
