In 2003 there were five award categories:
- The SPURT Award – for someone who has had the greatest progress in overcoming adversity and challenges.
- The SEVA Award – for someone who has performed a selfless act in order to benefit the greater community.
- The KEMO SABE Award – for someone who demonstrates friendship by example.
- The KEY PLAYER Award – for someone who demonstrates leadership, initiative and responsibility in making things happen within the community.
- The YODA Award – “Knowing I am the force of change.” Someone who has acted upon their beliefs to evoke change.
New award categories to be announced March 1, 2005
