About the Teens of Distinction Awards

Is there someone special in your school or community who you'd like to recognize for their originality? Consider this new city-wide award program that celebrates youth for who they are and how they are choosing to live their lives.

The first annual Teens of Distinction Awards were held in October 2003 where youth ages 13 to 18 were recognized for their perseverance, leadership, generosity and selfless service.

The second Teens of Distinction Awards ceremony will take place in May 2005. Award categories will be expanded, past recipients will be involved in the planning and nominations will begin this February.
