The Youth Volunteer Corps is now in its 11th summer of operation. Last year, youth volunteers contributed close over 30,000 hours of service to the Calgary community. If you are in need of an energetic and fun team of youth volunteers, please download and fill out the following file and fax or mail it back to our office.

Step 1: The process for requesting a team of YVC youth volunteers for your agency or special project begins with sending in your completed YVC Project Proposal.

Step 2: Once completed, the second step consists of a team of YVC youth reviewing all the proposed projects. Decisions will be made according to the overall diversity of projects available for Calgary's youth .We may contact you to clarify details or schedules.

Step 3: The third step is notifying you once the projects have been selected.

When completing the form, please ensure accuracy and full agency commitment for the project. It is essential there is sufficient work for the number of volunteers requested.

We ask that a minimum of 6 volunteers be included in each project. There are almost 2,000 youth volunteers in our program and we ant to ensure there are a large number of volunteer opportunities available to them in the summer. Please keep in mind a team of YVC volunteers may range from 6 to 12 volunteers.

Please note volunteers will range in age. If your agency has special age requirements for volunteers, please submit your proposal noting the minimum age of volunteers and we will accommodate your request.
